In Need of a New Home

Until recently, BLS did not have a dedicated website. It's only online presence was a short description and list of services on Brinjac Engineering’s (Brinjac) website. This arrangement had several downsides for BLS given that Brinjac’s audience, website structure and design, and website content did not align with BLS’ business goals and objectives. Because lighting design is a highly visual product, BLS needed a new website that was purposefully designed to showcase its portfolio and to target its audiences.

In addition to the design considerations, BLS needed the new website to be easy to manage for non-technical users, as they needed to be able to load and update project photos and descriptions, team member bios, news or announcements, and featured projects on the homepage.

Project Goals

  • Provide BLS with a dedicated website that showcases very visual content
  • Increase brand awareness and position BLS as a leader in lighting design
  • Setup an advanced content management system that allows BLS to easily maintain and update its website

  • We believe light is a powerful design tool that affects people’s moods, alters their behavior, and impacts their perception of space. We balance the art and science of lighting to craft beautiful and functional designs that work with the architecture to bring the client's vision to life and enhance the human experience.
