PERC: Pesticide Education Resource Collaborative
Website Design & Development
PERC is the Pesticide Educational Resources Collaborative, a 5-year cooperative agreement between the EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs and the University of California Davis Division of Continuing and Professional Education, in collaboration with Oregon State University.
It creates educational resources related to pesticides to serve national needs. From worker protection to applicator exams, its products are used by trainers in states, tribes, and territories.

A Valued Resource for the Agricultural Community
PERC engaged Lyquix to design and develop a fully responsive WordPress website that organizes its extensive regulatory and educational information into a clear, concise, and user-friendly format. Designed for both regulators and the regulated, the site features the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) Library as its centerpiece—a comprehensive collection of educational resources to support compliance with the Worker Protection Standard across various agricultural establishments.

A Focus on Compliance
In addition to serving the agricultural community, the site needed to meet strict US EPA rules and regulations. Lyquix collaborated closely with the PERC team to identify all compliance-critical content and ensured it could be easily managed and updated through the site’s backend.

Results
The new PERC website is a true resource for the agricultural community. It’s accessible across devices meaning those in the field can access all of the regulatory and educational information while on a phone or tablet and share it with workers who may not have consistent internet access.
